Poverty Internationally:

Relative poverty refers to a standard which is defined by terms of society in which an individual lives, which therefore differs between countries, for example in third world countries poverty can be based on not having money to pay the electricity bill, where in other countries poverty can be going days without food. It is very important to recognise that these issues are both classified as being poor. International poverty by definition is  poverty all around the world. The geography behind this is different depending on which country is in context. We have already talked about Poverty nationally (Ireland), we have also discussed the geography of poverty. we have not however talked about how it effects everywhere across the world. From Hong Kong to Cyprus there is always people struggling with a low standard of living. This occurs from lack of education or exploitation of land. There is many reasons as to why these things happen, stay tuned for all that. But for now lets discuss the places poverty effects the most.
